Following user feedback concerning the stability of our SG500 goal, we equipped the new models with non-slip pads for even more stability. The pads also prevent the goal from coming into direct contact with the ground, which limits corrosion over time.

Design
To develop and enrich our range of football goals with increasingly innovative models, I work in close collaboration with an engineer and a product designer. For the Classic Goal range, based on customer feedback, we focused on recreating the feel of playing with a real goal while making sure the product was durable, safe and of good quality.
Durability Test
We are lucky enough to work with an in-house mechanics lab (on the B'twin Village site) that lets us validate the design of our goals before we put them into production. For example, to assess a product's solidity, we perform load tests in our laboratory that reproduce the weight of a child. During this test, we apply a 35 kg load to the goal to check that it doesn't deform.
Resistance test
To test the durability of the hooks that hold the net in place, we recently set up a fatigue test with the help of our test engineers to reproduce the net's behaviour during a match. We were able to verify that, over the course of 5000 cycles, the hooks didn't break. It comes with real 90° steel top corners (for sizes S and M), while size L is made from aluminium to withstand shots from both large and small balls.
5-year warranty
With a surface treatment (cataphoresis) that allows greater protection against rust, this goal is guaranteed 5 years against corrosion.
6x4ft, made with steel and aluminium, and with real corners, it’s easy to assemble and stable on most surfaces.
Abrasion resistance
With a specific steel structure & shape, it's resistant to impact & bad weather.
Stability
Stable on all types of surfaces even without stakes.
Easy assembly / dismantling
